In a place where a city can be lost for hundreds of years. . . can they still find each other?
When an ancient lost Mayan temple is discovered by a team of archaeologists deep in the Mexican jungle, Liliana Bennett is thrown a lifeline to a family mystery that’s taunted her since her father’s sudden death.
Despite objections from everyone she knows, she heads to Mexico to see this temple for herself. Things don’t go to plan and when scruffy, knockabout National Geographic photographer Carter Logan joins her expedition she refuses to believe she’s out of her depth.
But just when she thinks things can’t get any worse, their guide is bitten by a snake and dies a horrific death. Lost and ill-prepared, they stumble upon a marijuana plantation. With drug runners hot on their heels, Lily and Carter are forced to battle the elements in an environment that’s as brutal as it is beautiful to find their way home.
